The PCDA National Currency and Coin Convention is sponsored by the Professional Currency Dealers Association. Founded in 1985, the PCDA now includes 135 of the leading specialists in collectable rare currency, as well as dealers also maintaining a significant presence in the rare coin marketplace. Formerly known as the National and World Paper Money Convention, the current name was adopted in 2011 to reflect the widened scope of the members’ offerings, as well as the widening base and scope of the organization’s membership as rare currency has become a more mainstream area within the numismatic trade. In addition to the bourse area including 50+ nationally prominent dealers from roughly 15 states, the NCCC will include a two session Lyn Knight auction, as well as meetings and educational programs on Friday and Saturday.

A major renovation project was completed early in 2010, with sleeping rooms, public areas and meeting space undergoing a significant transformation.
